Rust converter enamel primer for metal surfaces

BegerShield Supergloss Enamel Primer B-999 is a low-odor solvent-based primer without lead and mercury.  It is suited for rusted metal or in high moisture such as containers, pipes, machinery, old boats, etc, allowing a rough surface for better adhesion between the surface and paint film.

Direction of Use

Step 1 Surface Preparation

Clean all dirt, dust, grease, and stains on the surfaces. Besides, sand the surface with fine sandpaper and clean all dust. Deteriorated or old paint film should be sanded or removed by paint remover, Beger Unisoft 9119.

 

Step 2 Priming

Apply anti-rust primer, BegerShield B-999, for 1-2 coats and leave it for at least 6-8 hours before recoating. 

Step 3 Top Coating

Apply BegerShield Supergloss Enamel for 2 coats. Leave the first coat to dry for 8-10 hours before applying the next coat.
