Direction of Use

Step 1 Surface Preparation

For Steel and Metal Surfaces :

The surface must be completely dry and clean before painting. Remove all grease, dirt, and contamination.

For High Tannin Wood :

In cases where wood resin is present, clean the surface thoroughly using Beger Thinner M-77, then apply Beger B-2000 Wood Sealer (anti-resin primer).

For fiber cement or synthetic wood surfaces, it is recommended to apply Beger Pro Quick Primer B-1900 (multi-purpose primer) for 1 coat prior to applying BegerShield GripTech 2in1 Aqua.

For Fiber Cement :

It is recommended to apply 1 coat of Beger Pro Quick Primer B-1900 before applying BegerShield GripTech 2in1 RustProof.

For New Concrete :

Allow surface to dry out completely for at least 1 month and moisture content doesn't exceed 14%.

For Old Concrete :

Remove all deteriorated paint films by scraping and cleaning the surface thoroughly. Eliminate mold and algae, then apply Beger Mould Free M-001 for 1 coat.
In cases where surface cracks are present, repair them using Beger Acrylic Filler F-200. For larger cracks exceeding 2 mm, use Beger Acrylic Sealant F-001 to fill the gaps, then sand the surface smooth and even.
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and contaminants. For severely deteriorated surfaces or those with skim coating, it is recommended to apply Beger Pro Quick Primer B-1900 (multi-purpose primer) for 1 coat prior to finishing.

Step 2 Top Coating

Apply 2-3 coats of BegerShield GripTech 2in1 RustProof.
For rusted metal: after removing all rust, apply 3 coats of BegerShield Griptech2in1 RustProof.

*4 times more durability than a typical enamel paint, no chalking after testing in accelerated weathering tester as ASTM G154 standard.

Recommendation

For dark shades tinted through a color mixing system (Base C, D, or other deep and vivid tones), it is recommended to first apply BegerShield GripTech 2in1 Aqua in a shade that is one level lighter for 1 coat. Then, apply the desired dark color for 2 additional coats.

Once tinted, the paint should be used entirely. If any remains, ensure the container is tightly sealed and stored under appropriate temperature conditions.
