Beger Joins CECI to Drive Thailand’s Construction Industry Toward a Circular Economy and Net Zero Future

Beger Co., Ltd. continues to advance its sustainability mission by joining the Construction and Environment Collaboration Initiative (CECI) as a new member and signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the collaborative network. Bringing together leading organizations across the construction value chain, CECI aims to accelerate Thailand’s transition toward a Circular Economy and Net Zero Emissions.

The signing ceremony took place during the CECI Steering Committee Meeting 1/2026 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna. Representing Beger at the ceremony was Dr. Worawat Chaiyasburana, Managing Director of Beger Co., Ltd. The participation reflects Beger’s strong commitment to supporting the transformation of Thailand’s construction industry toward a more sustainable and environmentally responsible future.

Today, CECI comprises more than 42 member organizations representing key stakeholders throughout the construction ecosystem, including project developers, architects, engineers, building material manufacturers, contractors, and waste management service providers. In 2026, six new organizations joined the network, with Beger proudly welcomed as one of the newest members.

Driving the Transformation of Thailand’s Construction Industry Through Collaboration

Founded under the guiding principle of “Collaborate • Innovate • Sustain,” CECI fosters collaboration among government agencies, private-sector organizations, and academic institutions. The initiative focuses on developing shared sustainability standards, promoting resource efficiency through Circular Economy practices, facilitating knowledge exchange, and supporting pilot projects that help reduce environmental impacts while enhancing long-term industry resilience.

Dr. Worawat Chaiyasburana stated:

“Beger believes that achieving Climate Action and Net Zero goals cannot be accomplished by any single organization alone. It requires collective action across the entire construction ecosystem. Joining CECI marks another important milestone for Beger, providing opportunities to exchange knowledge, develop innovations, and co-create new standards that will help drive Thailand’s construction industry toward a more sustainable future.”

Beger’s Commitment to Green Innovation and Climate Action

As a leading innovator in environmentally friendly paints and coating solutions, Beger continues to develop products and technologies that support modern construction while minimizing environmental impact. These include the BegerCool product range, which helps reduce heat accumulation and energy consumption in buildings, as well as Eco-Wellness Innovation Coatings that promote healthier indoor environments and improved occupant well-being.

Beger has also strengthened its carbon reduction efforts through environmental certifications such as Carbon Footprint for Product (CFP) and Carbon Footprint Reduction (CFR). In addition, the company actively collaborates with partners across multiple sectors to advance Circular Economy initiatives and Green Innovation projects that create positive impacts for consumers, communities, and the environment.

Joining the CECI network represents another significant step in Beger’s sustainability journey. Through strategic collaboration, the company aims to help accelerate the transition of Thailand’s construction industry toward a Circular Economy, reduce environmental impacts, and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s Net Zero Future.
