Beger Company Limited Reinforces Its Position as the No. 1 Leader in Eco-Friendly Paint Innovation with Recognition from the “Label No. 5 Energy Saving Project”

Beger Company Limited has reaffirmed its leadership in eco-friendly paint innovation by receiving an honorary plaque as a partner of the “Label No. 5 Energy Saving Project” from the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE) and the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT). The award ceremony took place at the “30th Anniversary of Label No. 5 Energy Saving Project: With Love and Commitment” event, held at the Vibhavadi Ballroom, Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao, Bangkok, with Dr. Prasert Sinsukprasert, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, presiding over the ceremony.

During the event, honorary plaques were presented to a total of 54 partner organizations. Beger stood out as the only paint company in Thailand to receive this honor, reflecting the company’s vision and commitment to developing paint innovations that truly support energy conservation and environmental sustainability.

Eco-Friendly Paint Innovation Delivering Sustainable Results

Beger’s BegerCool product line, certified with the high-efficiency energy-saving label by DEDE, has helped reduce electricity consumption from air conditioners by more than 773 GWh, equivalent to over THB 2.4 billion in savings, and cut carbon dioxide emissions by over 400,000 tons—comparable to planting more than 23 million teak trees.

These results are clear proof that being the “No. 1 Eco-Friendly Paint” is not just a marketing slogan, but a new benchmark that Beger has consistently set and maintained to elevate the Thai paint industry toward a sustainable future.

Statement from the Leadership

Dr. Worawat Chaiyosburan, Chief Executive Officer of Beger Company Limited, stated:

“Receiving this honorary plaque is a great source of pride for Beger, as the only paint company in Thailand to be recognized on the 30th anniversary of the Label No. 5 Energy Saving Project. This achievement reflects our commitment to developing high-quality paints that reduce heat, save energy, and cut carbon emissions—paving the way for a sustainable future for both Thailand and the world.”

Driving Toward Carbon Neutrality 2050

The Label No. 5 Energy Saving Project serves as a key mechanism driving Thailand toward its Carbon Neutrality goal by 2050. This mission relies on collaboration from all sectors, including private-sector partners like Beger, who are determined to be a driving force in developing eco-friendly paint solutions that address both environmental sustainability and energy conservation.
